Programa de Mentoría
What’s so special about being “Complutense”?
You’ll be able to study a “mención” (area of expertise), choosing between Economical Analysis, World Economics, Applied Economics, Monetary and Financial policies or Public Economics. This will show in both your bachelor degree and academic records. You can also choose between different optional subjects, including external internships.
What will I find here?
You’ll experience a degree which trains Economics professionals capable of performing processing duties, and the assessment and evaluation of economic matters, both in the public and private sectors. We’ll teach you the insight and consequences of the economic systems, as well as the different alternatives for resources assignments and their management and improvement. You will be able to identify and anticipate relevant economic problems, and discuss possible alternative solutions for them, and how to identify the better ones.
And what about profesional opportunities?
You can certainly sneak into the public administration (comercial technicians, State economists, technician and inspector of credit institutions, head technician of the general administration, statisticians, controller treasurer of the local administration, auditor at the Court of Auditors, Bank of Spain controller of credit institutions, quartermaster body of the Spanish Army, etc). If your preference lies with the private sector, you could work at SMEs or big companies, such as Banks, consulting agencies, mutual insurance companies, consultancies or mercantile societies. You will get your chance to join global institutions, such as the IMF, WBG, OECD, the European Union or different NGOs. You can even start your own business by working as a freelance accounting or financial advisor!
